Tell us your story & describe your vision, we can manage the logistics & make that vision a reality. There is no idea too big or too small - want to have fire dancers & exotic animals at your staff party? We will bring them. Have an intimate dinner coming up for very important guests but have no idea how to pull it off? Let us do the work for you. Have you already spent 200 hours on Pinterest & now you just need somebody to bounce your wedding plans off of? Give us a call!

Created by young entrepreneur & dreamer, Levi Smith, Smithco was started with the ultimate goal of bringing people together & lighting that burning fire inside people that inspires passion. One thing I can promise you is that I will listen, and support you through the entire planning & preparation process.

Levi Smith

Hey there, I’m Levi, the face behind Smithco,

Most days you will find me chasing my puppy at the dog park while trying to respond to emails at the same time. I’m mostly known for spilling coffee on my pants right before an important meeting & making jokes about having peed my pants. I love serving the world by always bringing optimism to the table & offering creative solutions to the problems faced by the people around me.

The things I am most passionate about are being a momma bird to my friends & family, making people smile until their cheeks hurt, & lifting everyone up when they’re down. I work with people who struggle with bringing their vision to life. I’m lucky enough to give them the gift of a stress free experience & memories they will cherish for a lifetime.

When I’m not working on 13874 events, you can catch me:
• Drinking wine or binging on a new Netflix series.
• Trying to get dog slobber off my favourite pants.
• Celebrating taco tuesday/wednesday/everyday.
• Having a “who can make the ugliest face” competition with my partner in crime, Dan.

Still here? Lets connect! I can’t wait to hear your story.

Hot Wayward Night

When we were approached & asked to plan a cocktail party that was benefitting an LGBT+ bursary, there was absolutely no way we could say no. There was a venue, & a budget, but the rest was all up to the Smithco team.

Set in the end of August, we decided to send summer of with a hot, sexy, Miami Vice-esque party. Charcuterie that still has us drooling, golden pineapples, performers with voices (and faces) of angels, hanging tropical installations, this was the place to be in the Comox Valley on August 25th.

Not only did everyone (including us) have a killer time jamming out & drinking jell-o shots served by a handsome man with a fanny pack, we raised a ton of money that was used to help send a kid to college. Now that is a feeling that just can’t be beat. Thanks to Wayward Distillation House for hosting us, to our lovely performers Josh Stokes & Chris Girard, & to our crazy out-of-this-world talented photographer Alessandra Vitozzi. Without you all we are nothing. Cheers!

Nicole’s Birthday Party

We were lucky enough to be a part of Nicole’s 50th, and it couldn’t have been more fun. When her boyfriend approached us he told us three things, he loves his girlfriend Nicole, she is the party queen, and he has no idea how to throw a kick a** party. We had him steal her photo albums from the past five centuries so that we could work our magic. After flipping through these photos, scanning them, having duplicates made & going through them again, Nicole felt like an old friend.

At her party, guests wandered the room looking at hilarious photos from the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s, reliving the different phases of Nicole’s journey. They took turns snapping polaroids and putting them in her guest book. After a few cocktails & yummy snacks, the whole crew danced the night away & sang Karaoke with all of their closest buds. It was such an honour to be a part of this party, here’s to another 50 years of funky glasses & giant smiles, Nicole.
